ABOUT US

Welcome to Dance-A-Cise

Dance enables you to find yourself and lose yourself at the same time.

Dance-A-Cise is an independent Dance School dedicated to teaching different dance disciplines to all members of the community from 2 years to the slightly older members of society. Whether it is the adult keep fit classes coupled with a good laugh or the ballet, tap and musical theatre exam classes designed for all ages. We take pride in the high standards we set ourselves and the 100% pass rate we have achieved since we were founded back in 1997 by Jan Gregory AIDTA, AADA, MADA.

Over the years, our friendly and passionate approach has seen us build strong relationships with local business, students, and their family’s alike this has resulted in the school’s annual showcase for Charity raising significant funds for well-deserved causes.

We have developed a strong reputation for working well with young students and helping them develop their passions. We strive not only for excellence but to create a supportive, enjoyable, and caring atmosphere with a strong sense of “effort produces results”. The strengths of the school lie not only in the weekly planning and recognition of the individual student abilities, but in the passion and dedication of everyone at Dance-A-Cise who make it happen.

School Principle

Jan Gregory

As the principle of Dance-A-Cise I count myself one very lucky person. For the past 30 years, I have taught and worked with some pretty amazing people, both teachers, and students. Over the years I have slowly built Dance-A-Cise into my dream. A village dance school full of students, of all ages, all who have a love for life and passion for dance. Some have gone onto perform in west end shows such as Billy Elliot.

My passion for dance and for passing on that passion is as strong, if not stronger than it was all those years ago when I put on my first pair of ballet shows, aged 5.
